CCHP’s once-a-month Sunday Evening Service with a bit more of an Edge

after hours@1 Spring:  God’s Music and Message Moving the Spirit of a Contemporary Generation

Sunday Evening Service — 6 PM  —  February 18th

The sermon at this service will be based on the morning’s service.  However, this won’t be a listening-only, passive service.  Participants will have the chance to talk about issues raised in the Scripture lesson.  The service will also be a little more visually-oriented than a typical worship service, using screens to generate some thinking around what the Bible is saying.

Led by the music of Shaant Shishmanian a member of the group forBROTHERS

Shaant was born and raised in New Jersey, he started writing music at the age of 6 on piano, started playing the guitar at 12, also began writing music on the guitar.  Having no training on the instrument, he taught himself chords, scales, rhythm, and improvisation and was playing on stages in school, church, and other venues by the time he was 14.  Along with the guitar, Shaant taught himself to play other various instruments including drums, bass, ukulele, and others.

He also conducted and led several musical groups including a bell choir, singer-songwriter music groups, and a travel worship band before entering college,  graduated in 2012 with a degree in Music and Accounting & Finance.
